EV ZX5 Speaker Review:

It’s no secret that I have been a fan of Electro-Voice for some time.  I believe their speakers reproduce an incredibly clean sound and their response is closely aligned with the needs of the average church requirement.

That being said, I was taken aback at the after-show Telex party when they cranked up the new ZX5.  The clarity and volume from such a small cabinet was amazing. Regardless of volume the cabinet held it’s own.  With two different horn patterns the cabinet is designed to array or stand alone.

Team it up as they did at the party with a DynaCord subwoofer and you have a sound that will make any Worship Tech and Worship Pastor happy.  The cabinet has an attractive finish that doesn’t draw attention to itself and the small footprint will undoubtedly help many an install.
