Church Audio Training Made Simple:
Sound Check

Presenting our most recent offering in the Church Audio Training Made Simple series: ”Sound Check”

Many of our churches have asked for a tool to go even more basic and help them with weekly problems that seem to consistently plague worship. After visiting many churches we realized that all too often churches don’t do sound checks -- for that matter, they don’t even know HOW to do a sound check or why they should.

This DVD goes on location to a typical church and shows the viewer how to do a sound check from start to finish.  We explain what a sound check is, why you need to do one, and then show a complete uninterrupted sound check with both band and vocalists.  We also discuss the importance of checking all the microphones to be used in a service. Then we return to the sound check and break it down step by step explaining what is happening and WHY it’s being done.

This DVD stresses the need for a worship technician to have the heart of a servant. It reminds the worship technician that their job is to support those called to teach the Word of God and those who lead in corporate worship.
